Don't let your eyes obstruct your vision.
- B. Kishel
Our philosophy is not about the jewelry, nor is it even about fashion. It's about life. One can understand it as the beauty of life; but really, it's about the ugliness too. Because in beauty can exist ugliness, if we get attached to the subject; but in the ugly can exist immense beauty when we look through the soul. The only difference between the two is the person observing. A narrow mind sees opinion. A whole mind sees truth. What do you see?
Beauty is not exclusive and neither is spirit. It’s a process of discovery; a self-discovery, if you will. Nothing in life ever comes to a full stop so to ignore the possibility of change or transcendence goes against the grain of our universe. The multiplicity of expression is the gift of humanity. It is not about this or that. It is about all of it. As individuals we want nothing more than to live life outside the box; beyond the bounds of judgement, the limits of concepts and the assumptions of society, we want to be free. And the gift of the human capacity is at every given moment, we have the freedom to let be. To surrender to our own ideas of how things should look, feel or be situated. We have the liberation to choose who we are, when we are and where we are. We are human beings, not human doings. To let be is not to give up, it is to flow and keep fresh. The company we keep reflects the soul of our whispers.
Beauty is not a measure, nor is it a gift. It is what we choose. How we hold our space creates the beauty of our nature.
Today I am the lover, tomorrow the beloved. Today I have it all, tomorrow I may never see again. It is light. It is dark. It is mine. It is yours. It is everything. It is nothing. Who am I through all this? I am. Anything can happen in my world, my space, my beauty.
And that's what we put in every piece we design.
